Description:
The International FinanceCorporation (IFC) has been mandated by the Government of Tunisia to support with thepreparation and delivery of its green program for the phosphate sector. Theprogram includes: (i) a slurry pipeline to transport phosphate from the miningbasin to the washing plants, (ii) a 100,000 m3/day desalination plant and (iii)a renewable energy plant. IFC seeks to hire a legalconsultancy firm or consortium of firms to support IFC and its governmentClient with all the legal aspects related to the implementation of the Project including (i)legal due diligence related to the project of water, renewable energy andmining sectors and identification of any constrains regarding theinstitutional, legal and regulatory framework pertaining to private sectorparticipation in these sectors in Tunisia; (ii) preparation of structuringrecommendations for the program; (iii) drafting of the project(s) agreement(s)and other transaction documents; and (iii) assisting in conducting atransparent tender process, including evaluation and award, up until commercialclose.
