Description:
The Government of Tunisia plans to exploit itsexceptional and abundant renewable energy resources to develop in a timelymanner solar projects aligned with the objectives of the National EnergyStrategy and meeting the current needs of the state-owned operator (STEG). Inthis context, the World Bank is seeking to recruit a technical consultant (the"Consultant") to identify and development of three potential sitesfor solar photovoltaic IPP projects with battery storage, following technical,environmental, social, and economic criteria. This analysis will enable theWorld Bank to better inform the Tunisian government achievement of its REobjective. The study also contributes to the broader dialogue at the World Bankon structuring hybrid PPAs.
