Description:
1. The Tunisian government isprioritizing improved road safety and is seeking to underpin a futureinvestment program in road safety. In addition to existing efforts tostrengthen law enforcement and change behaviors, Tunisia will seek to integrate"safe system" principles into its infrastructure development programsthrough a "forgiving" design that takes into account human behaviorand limits. This assignment is for ateam of technical experts (hereafter “the Team”) who will support the WorldBank to work with Tunisia-s “direction generale des ponts et chaussees” (DGPC)on identifying a program of road safety investments that can support improvedresults.
