Description:
Expression of Interest are invited for Support Program to Improve Access to Finance for MSMEs. The World Bank seeks support from a firm or a consortium of experienced and qualified firms (hereinafter referred to as "the Consultant") to support the Ministry of Finance (MF), key actors identified by the MF and the World Bank in the definition and implementation of a series of measures aimed at improving the financing of MSMEs in Tunisia. Activities of this program should help to: 1) Optimize and strengthen public policies for the development and growth of MSMEs with emphasis on Access to Finance (A2F). 2) Modernize the legal and regulatory framework to reduce existing structural deficiencies in the credit information infrastructure, expanding the range of financial instruments available to MSMEs. 3) Assess the state of funding for MSMEs - particularly in the aftermath of COVID and optimize public policies for the resilience of MSMEs and their recovery from the COVID crisis through better access to finance.
