• The project IPTIC "Strengthening the impact of employment policies and supporting the creation of ICT-based jobs for youth and women in Tunisia", funded by the Republic of Korea through its cooperation agency (KOICA), iscontributing to the Tunisian Government as well as the social partners, in linewith the Decent Work Agenda and in particular Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by trying to bring visible short- and medium-term changes in the labour marketfor young people and women. This project, implemented by the International Labour Organization (ILO), aims to continue the work for a long-term national and regional employment policy in Tunisia and to contribute to the development of decentemployment for young people and women through the development of value chains in new technologies by opting to achieve the following 3 results:1. The capacities of the Ministry in charge of employment are strengthened for the effective implementation of the National Employment Strategy (NES) and the Regional Action Plans (RAPs) for employment.2. Employment institutions and social partners at local level are able to design and implement relevant policies for youth employment.3. Support forthe direct creation of jobs for youth and women in the ICT sector in the governorates of Tunis, Sousse and Sfax. This call for tenders is aligned with the first outcome of the project "The capacities of the Ministry in charge of employment are strengthened for the effective implementation of the National Employment Strategy (NES) and the Regional Action Plans (RAPs) for employment.", and within this framework, the project IPTIC is seeking to recruit an expert proficient in the implementation of national employment policies. The selected expert will provide invaluable support to the ILO in fulfilling the following primary responsibilities.- Conduct a comprehensive study on the best practices in employment strategy delivery, drawing insights from the Republic of Korea.- Facilitate workshops based on the findings of the aforementioned study.- Develop and deliver capacity-building training sessions to enhance the capabilities of project stakeholders responsible for employment policy matters.
