- Expression of Interest are invited for Electric Buses Deployment in Tunisia. Scope: Exploration of methods to replace the current fleet of buses with electric buses a. Support Ministry of Transport (MOT) on a high-level roadmap for deploying electric buses: this activity will assist the MOT to identify the gaps and suggest the immediate next steps for e-bus deployment at the national level and municipal level. Coordination with other stakeholders is required to fully unlock the potential of transforming both the transport sector and energy sector including considerations of private sector participation. b. Built on the above activity, identify pilots in Tunis or other cities (which shows high potentials for e-buses operations): It includes developing criteria for pilot selection and monitoring, stakeholders mapping at the city level, preliminary concept design of one pilot to assist the government to access future financing. Estimated Timeline: the project will be kicked off after signing the contract (estimated Jan -Feb 2022) and the final delivery will be around September -Nov of 2022. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications. Qualification Criteria · 1. Provide information showing that they are qualified in the field of the assignment. · 2. Provide information on the technical and managerial capabilities of the firm. · 3.
