Description:
Tenders are invited for Designing, Implementing and Managing Resilient Flood Protection Infrastructures in Tunisia. Consulting services for Analytical Products for Definition of Best Practices and International Standards for Designing, Implementing, and Managing Resilient Flood Protection Infrastructures in Tunisia.This TA will aim to support the Directorate of Urban Hydraulics (DHU) in improving the prioritization, management, and maintenance of cost-effective flood risk protection infrastructure, in complementarity with flood protection and flood risk reduction initiatives led by other flood risk management stakeholders. The TA will be implemented via a series of activities: i) conduct a review of the existing flood protection infrastructures and infrastructure management practices in Tunisia; ii) conduct a benchmarking analysis of international standards and practices for managing and investing in flood risk protection infrastructures; iii) define a roadmap to bridge the gap for managing and investing in resilient flood risk reduction infrastructure based on regional and international best practices; and iv) provide trainings to strengthen DHU-s and key stakeholders- capacities.
