Description:
Tenders are invited for CIC-Tunisia Developing Foundation of the Natural Capital Accounting for Sustainable Nature-Based Sol The objective of this consultancy is to (i) collect the needed data and information at regional; national; and subnational / local levels in available existing databases; (ii) develop the expected ENCA and sustainable tourism accounts in selected ecosystems; in particular in oasis landscapes; (iii) prepare an ENCA and sustainable tourism account compendium; (iv) curate a repository of ENCA and sustainable tourism data which will be mainstreamed into an existing geo-enabled platform; (v) elaborate succinct policy briefs based on the evaluation and assessment of data collected; and disseminate findings and resources; and (vi) identify; organize; and implement capacity building and knowledge exchanges at both national and sub-national levels through workshop/webinars with key stakeholders.The work will be guided by a Strategic Steering Committee; co-chaired by the Ministry of Tourism (lead) and the Ministry of Environment; as well as a Technical Committee; involving all relevant stakeholders; to be set up at the kickoff of the technical assistance.
